Following the success of the Metis Horn speaker, our team conducted extensive research in design to develop the Selene 2-way full-range horn speaker, aiming to deliver accurate, lively, and musical sound with dynamic enjoyment for music enthusiasts. The solid walnut rectangular horn, mounted above the bass cabinet, is driven by a Beyma 2” wide-bandwidth compression driver. The lower section features a mid/lower woofer by a Beyma 12” drive unit in a solid walnut vented enclosure with proprietary internal dampening for exceptional transient response and matching with the compression unit. This carefully selected combination of drivers and loading techniques results in a high-efficiency, ultra-wideband loudspeaker with exceptional transient response and clarity, unmatched by any other loudspeaker in its price range. The crossover is constructed with high-quality Mundorf components and is configured as a fourth-order type (24 dB/Oct) due to the unusually low crossover points for both drivers, ensuring safe operation with high-powered amplifiers.
