The TriangleART I-20 Single-Ended Integrated Amplifier boasts a time-honored circuit configuration with elegant topologies and power designs dating to the golden age of Hi-Fi. Single-ended configurations are gracefully simple with a very short signal path and extraordinary purity. This design emphasizes fidelity and accuracy, using a single output triode to handle the entire audio signal in pure Class A.

The I-20 Single-Ended Integrated features a high plate voltage, high screen voltage acceleration, lower electron cloud density, and lower cathode current to improve power output efficiency by 80% compared with standard Class A Triodes. This design allows signal amplitude to undergo velocity modulation rather than simply adding and subtracting with a constant current signal as utilized in standard Class A. Also, our design increases sensitivity and requires minimal drive current. One EL34 tube can produce up to 20 watts with one section of 12ax7 running less than 1mA of current through it and 35mA with 650v on the EL34 plate.

Meticulously fabricated, the I-20 features a heavy-duty aluminum chassis with a one-inch thick faceplate and 3/8ths thick panels on all other sides. We use fine electronic components, high-quality silver wiring, 2.5mm circuit board using solid 4oz copper plating for optimal signal flow. Equipped with Mundroft capacitors, AMRG and Vishay resistors, Elma volume control, and input selector, the I-20 offers two pairs of RCA inputs and two pairs of XLR inputs.

I heard TriangleArt I-20 single ended integrated amplifier at T.H.E. Show SoCal 2024 driving TriangleArt Selene horn speakers with well recorded jazz on vinyl. The sound was excellent, realistic and very engaging. Analog the way it is supposed to be. The speakers disappeared leaving truly real voice and instrument details with space around each. That space was natural sounding 3D reflecting the recording studio room, instrument sustain or the presentation the artist or engineer put there. I could have listened to this amp, the entire TriangleArt system and that jazz all day.
